Montes Purple Angel is elegant on the nose, with aromas of ripe red and black berries over a background of sweet notes. Being stored in French oak barrels adds aromas of dark chocolate, and coffee which goes with the typical fruity aromas of this variety. Well structured on the palate, with smooth and full tannins.

Description
Montes Purple Angel is vinified from the grapes Carmenère (92%) and Petit Verdot (8%) of various layers and shows a deep, shiny and crimson color. This Chilean red wine has a complex bouquet due to the grape varieties from different locations with the lively spiciness of the Carmenère from Marchigüe, the wild fruity blackberry aromas of Petit Verdot and the elegant dark fruit notes of plum and blueberry of the Apalta-Carmenère. The Montes Purple Angel is rich in body, very intense and full-bodied on the palate. Richly ripe tannin gives this wine its structure and firmness. This red wine is sensual and powerful and is characterized by its excellent storage potential.
