Description
Boca Grenache Rouge from Gerard Bertrand reveals a very intense nose with red berries and delicate hints of spices. The mouthfeel is very rich, well-balanced with great roundness and aromas of small fresh berries such as raspberry, strawberry and blueberry. Hints of spicy notes bring a nice freshness to the wine.
The Grenache grapes come from low-yielding vines. The grapes are carefully selected with a specific focus on the sanitary state of the berries. The berries are picked at their polyphenolic maturity. The winemaking process is traditional in stainless-steel tanks with prior de-stemming. The vatting time is only a few days in order to obtain very silky tannins and to preserve a maximum of fresh fruit delicacy. Serve at 15-16°C.
Food Pairing: Best paired with meat or grilled lamb.
