An amber variant of the Bloedlemoen Gin, this was developed some years after the launch of the original, in response to the need for a richer gin for winter.Infused with a range of fynbos botanicals, including lemon buchu and nutmeg pelargonium, it is macerated post-distillation with local honeybush, which gives it a rich colour and warm, sweet caramel notes.
Nose: Hints of warm, sweet, creamy caramel.
Palate: Spicy, almost woody, full of complexity and flavour.
Finish:Strong earthy, nutty with juniper aftertaste.
